What are Spagyrics?

• Spagyrics is a branch of the western alchemical tradition that involves the preparation of plants for physical and spiritual healing. The word is derived from Greek, meaning “to separate and recombine.”
• In alchemy, plants are seen to have body, soul and spirit just like humans, which correlate to their mineral salts, essential oils, and alcohol soluble constituents. In the spagyric process these are separated, purified and recombined into what is considered a spiritualized herbal extract.
