This is a specialty eye pillow for persons with TMJ pain, jaw pain and it also is very nice for one-sided head aches or migraines. These pillows can provide heat or cold based on the type of relief desired. For head aches relieved by cold, pillows can be stored in the freezer. For head aches relieved by heat it can go in the microwave for one minute, or with caution it can go in the over on the lowest heat setting. These pillows are made using 100% cotton fabric by Daytona Beach designer BJ Lantz, and are filled with certified Organic Flax Seeds. The base billow is divided into 3 main section and the outer sections are partially divided for an even distribution of flax through out the pillow. These pillows fit small and large sized faces and cover the forehead, TMJ, and Jaw. The pillow comes with a fitted matching pillow cover that is pre-shrunk and machine washable. These pillows ship in a rectangular zip lock storage bag. I created this pattern originally in a for a dental hygienist based on her guidelines in working with clients with these types of issues. This was the best design from her competitive bid, and is still in use in her practice and training sessions for other professionals.
