Herbal Revolution CSA
What is a CSA?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture.
I can’t exactly remember what year it was when I heard the term Community Supported Agriculture but I do remember it was instant love. Community Supported Agriculture is when an individual or a family makes an investment into a local farm by buying a share. All farms are different but generally a couple of share options are offered, such as an individual share or a family share.
When you buy a share you are buying into that seasons harvest receiving weekly amounts of produce, dairy, meat and or other farm products throughout the season. One of the reasons why I love CSA’s is the farmer gets to make a direct link with their neighbors and community along with gaining financial sustainability for the season.
What is an Herbal CSA?
Based on the same concept as a CSA for produce we will be offering a wide range of hand crafted organic medicinal herb preparations and herbal infused body products. Through supporting an Herbal CSA you are supporting small farms run by individual herbalists who specialize in the craft of herbal medicine making on a small and intimate scale.
This is a six month CSA.
Each month you will receive:
1 1 oz tincture
1 3 oz bag of tea
1 1/2 oz Flower Essences
You will have the choice of what ticnture, teas blend and flower essences you would like to receive each month.
Once you sign up you will be sent a list of all of the choices that are available.
Some examples include:
Single ticntures of: Angelica Root, Burdock Root, Dandelion Root, Motherwort, Skullcap, St. John's Wort, Milky Oats, Echinacea and many more. All tinctures are made with Certified Organic Grape Alcohol making them gluten free, hypo-allergenic and GMO free!
Tea Blends include: Lemon Squeeze Honey Love, Spring Cleaning, Daily Nourishment, Good Night Moon, Love Your Lungs, Mint Tea and a few others.
Flower Essences: Apple Blossom, Forget-Me-Not, Dandelion, Bee Balm, Rose, Lavender, Yarrow and many others.
All herbs used in these products are either ethically wild gathered or organically grown.
Each months package will include a written explanation on how to use the herbal products, what
they are good for and a surprise herbal product will also be included in every months package!
